When my soon-to-be husband is away for months on deployment it’s tough, to say the least. i was taught to think the next week or month or year will only get better than it is today. so i just keep waiting to see how great it will get.
i’ve been obsessing over this song for weeks now. glad to finally share it.

hi. here’s a crude version of a song that’s going to be featured on the EP. it was recorded with ruben rios on drums and todd mcneil on the keys.
when i was living in london last year, my lady friend confronted me about failing to write meaningful songs about our relationship. i wrote this song the next day.
